hi Arlene, Michelle and Henry,
thanks for the suggestions. i'm going to try the shade and
hopefully that works for her. i also realize i need to get a
windowshield shade...i've always been able to bear the heat of
stepping into a sweltering car, but it will be dangerous for Oyin
while waiting for the a/c to cool us off. i used to carry her into
stores in a bag..she's very easy to get into one! but even those
have been a problem...managers at walmart, target, etc...saying no
dogs allowed. i'm making her a baby carrier - almost like the pea
in a pod brand, for those that are familiar - to carry her in, and
hopefully we'll be able to get by unnoticed.

intended 5 minute interaction means an hour. Does he/she like to go
in a bag? Get yourself a discreet one. I bring him everywhere with
me..if its cool I let his head stick out if not we have a little
drill (he actually learned the words "be sneaky now" -LOL) and he'll
duck down in the bag (that took treats to the tenth power and time)
but what I'm saying is its pretty easy to get them in places (which
are usually AC'ed) like Home depot etc etc without too much
notice...also there so darn cute staff are usually ok even if its
wrong. plus if they pooped (which we know they won't) it'll be in
the purse!

lighter, summer is another danger and with the price of gas we can't
afford to leave him in a running car.
