I have been very busy lately and have fallen way behind on post....I apologize!
However, let me be the first to say, sometimes you have to step out on blind
faith. Someone is begging for help with a huge vet bill. MAYBE it is a scam and
as a result, you loose $5 .......but on the other hand MAYBE, just maybe, it is
a legitimate cry for help, sent to people she feels would understand the
desperation. To me, it is worth the small risk.

I have had 3 chis total with disk problems. The past two weeks have been murder
on Pepper and he is loosing control of his back legs. I am scared to death. I
know he is going to become paralyzed eventually, and since he is also my SD, I
don't know what I am going to do. I can not afford the surgery. He takes 4
pills a day right now.

Poor Taz does great. Occasional pain, but so far he seems to do good.

Joe was completely paralyzed by the time he passed away. Surgery was not an
option for him. This was several years ago and the techknowledgy wasn't what it
is now, and vet specialist did not think he was a good candidate for surgery.
His breathing and heart problems was a factor...they didn't think he would make
it through an anesthesia. So basically, he spent 3 years unable to move the
front part of his body. I carried him everywhere he needed to go. Don't think
for a moment, I would not have done everything I could have for him.

My thoughts and prayers are with the dog needing help. This conversation has
gone so far now that I don't even know exactly who it was that was needing
help, but I don't blame them for asking for it or for trying every option
available.

BTW.....I will soon be putting out a request for a fund raiser for rescuing
chis......hope no one looks at that as a scam......

Marsha

Now this one I believe is a scam and most people won't fall for it. However
this dog is a different story.

If you believe this, I received an e-mail from a prince in Africa who needs
to transfer 25 million dollars to a bank in the US. He'll let you keep 5 mil
for your help. :-)
