In mid-March my Peanuts was playing with a Cocker Spaniel mix that
belongs to my daughter and is his best friend. He fell off the couch
and injured his knee. A month later (three weeks ago now) he had
surgery on his patella. It cost $875 for the surgery, there were three
other vet visits, one with x-rays, before and two after so the grand
total was more like $1,200.
My babys love to play with other dogs of any size, but we all have to
keep in mind that they are very fragile. It breaks my heart to see
Peanuts' pain and all he's gone through. We are doing "Physical
Therapy" now and he has at least two more weeks before he can go back
to "full activity". Denise
