I understand what u mean. Fortunately I don't have to work, but today I had a Dr appointment. My car wouldn't start, so I was only gone about 20 min., but the way Minnie acted, when I came in, u would think I was gone for hours. She has not left my lap since I came in. But, I can't hardly blame her, the last time I left her home, was to go to the hospital. I had to have emergency surgery for a hernia, spent 6 days in ICU, and didn't come home to her for over a week. So she has a good reason to wonder if I'm coming back. My other 2 chi's don't seem to be bothered about it as much as Minnie, but she has been my lap baby since she was 10 weeks old. She had never been apart from me, except 1 day when she got spayed last Sept. Lacie was an adult stray when I got her, and Penny was 5 months old when I got her, maybe that makes the difference.
But a healthier "neurotic mother" has to be good for u'r furbaby! :-)

** *I am having a bit of an issue and hoping you may be able to share some of your opinions. I have a chihuahua shes 3 1/2 shes my world!! I do work 8 hrs a day and have been thinking of joining a gym, which will take up a little more of my time. I do leave the t.v. on for her she is free to roam the house also she always has food and water and a pee pad while I'm working. I miss her soooo bad while I'm working all I want to do is go home to see her!! I also would like a little healthier life style. I feel so guilty even considering this, am I crazy for feeling this way or should me leaving her home for about an hour or so more ok? Please help!!! *
