This is such a funny chat. Everyone seems to have had a different experience. 
My guy uses paper towels if I run out of wee-pads and he does not like the 
weather or cannot get outside. 
Go figure! They're like finger prints kind of the same but totally different!

We never had that problem. Did you use the scented ones? Bogie is housebroken 
now but we used the pads and he never used anything else. Some dogs just don't 
take to them. Also if you put down pads but give them a large area to roam they 
will more than likely use other things.

Puppy pads are so bad!
I used those to train my dog and now she thinks she can pee on anything that 
looks like a puppy pad -- towels, rugs, etc
