I'm no expert, but... I don't understand why your vet would even lead you to feel worried about reverse sneezing. From my understanding, it's a very normal Chihuahua thing. Daisy does it when she gets very excited but calms down in about a minute. A few other tricks I know of to make them stop are 1) making them lick something and 2) rubbing their neck/throat. I just sit with her and talk to her calmly. It does look very scary, it reminds me of someone having an asthma attack.
I wouldn't think having a vaccine put in her nose would make her reverse sneeze more, so like Amanda said maybe she got KC. I hope your Chi baby gets better soon, keep us updated. -Amanda- (another Amanda, LOL)
