Hello everyone,
Newbie to the group. Thought I'd share the news of our lost female
Chihuahua ("Baby") who left our yard 5/20/07. She had a red collar with
ID/phone # and is chipped but no luck yet. That's why we feel that it's
possible she is being kept by someone that possibly found her. There's
posters everywhere, including the pound, groomers, Vets and local
paper. So this is one avenue I haven't tried. Please check out some of
the photos, particularly if you live in the Palmdale/Lancaster, Calif.
area. She is a loveable, gentle little kid (thus the name) and we guess
about 6 years old. My daughter found her in the streets about 3 years
ago and she's been great since. Very friendly with people, rarely barks
and a gentle, timid disposition - a rarity with what I thought Chi's
were. In some ways, she reminds me of an actual small child, which
makes this loss a little rough. She has traits/looks of an applehead
and deer-face combined which makes her really pretty. The white spot on
the head and pink nose is a dead give-away.
The last memory I keep is of her looking up at me while sitting on my
lap looking up at me with her big, wetted eyes. She'll rest one side of
her head against my chest motionless, as if to listen to my heartbeat,
and just stare at me.

above Subject. We're keeping our fingers crossed. Thanks.
