I can't recall all the details, so I may have a few of them messed up here, but the gist is, this IS based on a true current situation (if it is the same one as has been circling this week), but the facts have been blown out of proportion by the mass circulation. Basically, a breeder passed away. The administrator of her estate is NOT euthanizing the dogs. He is placing all the dogs in pet homes WITHOUT registration in order to cease the breeding line name. There are a very few special needs dogs that will be PTS, on the deceased's orders, because she didn't feel anyone could properly care for their special needs. The other ones are not going to be PTS, but are being placed. Marsha
