Hello everyone I am new to this group. I would like to direct your attention to an immediate life or death serious problem that is plaguing this country as well as others.
That problem is the continuing sale of and hiding the facts as to the newest contaminants found in pet food. The FDA is not divulging the names or the manufacturers nor of the products that have been recently found to contain acetaminophen and other substances that are toxic to our pets. Thousands, including my own cat GIZMO have been killed as a result of the unscrupulous practices of Corporations in both the US and China. I urge you to visit the website at: http://www.defendourpets.org/index.html View the photos of the victims of all of this unnecessary pain and suffering; place yourself in the shoes of the owners who have had to make the heartbreaking decision to put down a cherished member of their families. This could well happen to your family. It happened to me, and was not discovered for days after the so called "News" aired about what was going on. The News has since dropped the story coverage in favor of Paris Hilton and other sensational headlines. The problem still goes on. I urge you to sign the petition and inform as many of your friends and acquaintances of this problem and petition. This will give you a pretty good idea of what we're dealing with here. This has to stop. As usual the government and the rest of the usual so called "interested" parties are paying lip service to this problem. There is indeed strength in numbers. If enough deeply concerned individuals have the conviction to sign and circulate this petition; well; for once in a long time, things may change for the better. I am new to your yahoo group, but not new to the problems, the rampant corruption and Techniques used by Corporate America and others to whitewash and make unpleasant things like this go away. If you are truly committed to your pets, and consider them as one of the family as I do, please step up and let everyone know. I am part of the class action suit against Menu Foods and the other co-conspirators who are responsible for this inhumane greed at the expense of our beloved pets.
