Maybe he's allergic to peanut butter?? I only give Max (who is allergic to everything) special treats that have potato and fish and he's fine with them. My other dog Blackie can eat anything. Maybe have your dog take allergy test like Max did and that's how I found out that he is allergic to beef, tree, grass, cat, weed, and many other things.

Patches got a couple yesterday (I don't know if this is the cause of what I need advise on, which is why I'm including this). This morning when I got up I noticed that patches had thick yellow "boogers" under his eyes. Nothing has changed except for the treats. His stool is firm, but he's not quite as active as normal. Also, he hasn't eaten or drank yet. Is this just something simple like allergies, or should I take him to the vet? I've never had any of my dogs do this. Thanks for your advise. KP
