Tara I am sorry I didn't see your post come across. I feed my Chi's Diamond Naturals. For those that young I am thinking you could feed them Diamond Puppy food. Mine are 'free feeders' because they just nibble here and there . I mean I leave the food down where they can access it all the time. Every one in awhile I treat them with a mixture of stuff I make up. Here's my recipe in case you want to try it. It really isn't that expensive cause you can refrigerate and freeze the extra. Mare's Glop 12 chicken thighs 4 large sweet potatoes 2 large cans veg-all mixed vegetables 1 large container plain yogurt 1 large container cottage cheese 1/2 package brown rice 1 can salmon Ok boil the chicken thighs, microwave the sweet potatoes, cook the rice. When it all cools down......get your food processor or a food grinder out and grind it coarsely. Grind the chicken, potatoes.rice and the mixed veggies. Then mix in the yogurt, cottage cheese and salmon. I guarantee you they will adore this stuff! Mine will prance and dance ...do anything for it! You ought to see them congregate around the stove when I am cooking for them Thye just know they are so loved and so special...and of course they are! Best Wishes. Maybe I will have to find out more on my own.
