I have homemade steps at my bed. My SD chi has a bad back and is not suppose to be allowed to jump, climb stairs ect (how do you stop him??!!) so my mom made him some steps to get on the bed so he wouldn't jump. The smaller chis that couldn't jump that high have loved it as well since they can now get up by themselves. I definitely love mine!! And, since she made it from thick Styrofoam as opposed to plastic or wood like the store bought ones, I don't have to worry about stubbing my toes, lol Marsha
