Hello I have a question, has anyone dealt with dry eye in their dogs. My
minpin Charly was diagnosed with it last week. He is also diabetic. We have
gel medicine that supposedly helps to make tears and drops that are
antibiotic. It doesnt seem to be getting better but it isnt worse either, I
have a check up next week because they said to use the medicine two weeks
then come back, but I wondered if anyone had any advice.
His eye keeps getting this nasty stuff in it that sometimes we can wipe out
but sometimes not. He also holds it mostly closed all of the time and it
kind of looks smaller than his other eye,
Charly is very hard to get the medicine in, I actually have to muzzle him
and hold him tight while my daughter holds his head and then we try our best
to get the medicine in. I just cant tell if it is doing any good.
