There ARE lots of recipes out there that are dual purpose - almost the same recipe for humans as dogs. You just divide the final amount into two lots and add maybe extra sugar to biscuit dough for humans or maybe onions for meat dishes for humans. In fact one of our dog magazines (I'm in the UK) has a new "dual food" recipe each issue. I think this month it was beefburgers so your dog could join in with the family BBQ I'll try to find some back copies and type them out.
