I am a bit behind on emails here :-) Unless you have reason to believe that
your baby could not safely carry the pups to term then if she is already
pregnant, you should go ahead and allow her to have the pups. This is too young
for an intentional breeding, but accidents do happen and once they happen, you
just got to deal with it. There is also the chance that an abortion could
interfere with her ability to have pups later. If these pups have already been
conceived, then they deserve a chance to live unless carrying/delivering them
could harm the mom.

Subject: [Chihuahuas] Unwanted pregnancy or just female development?

My female chihuahua went into heat on the 12th of last month. I was
sure I had seperated my male and her in time. They were not in contact
at all for the entire time (I hope)
What I'm not sure of is her nipples are somewhat developed. Is this
normal after a female has gone into heat? She is only 10 months old and
I do not want to breed her this young.
We did have both dogs at a sitter the weekend before so it "could" have
  happened then.
I guess what I'm asking is could she be pregnant by the sounds of it
and due to her age should or can it be terminated?
From what I have read it could be a false pregnancy.
  Thanks
