Well, I litterbox trained mine and what I did is get a baby enclosure
(6 sided) and made it 4 sided (you can either make it 6 or 4 sided) I
put both dogs in their with their bed and the litter box and food.
That way they only have one place to go to the bathroom. After about
a week, I graduated them to my gated kitchen. Now they use the litter
box whenever they have to go. Sometimes it seems they regress and I
have to put them back in the enclosure for a day or two but they get
it pretty quick!

IMHO, puppies really do not have total bladder control until 4 or 5
months. I found plenty of peepee spots on my comforter when Pablo
was little. However, my female never had any issues even when she
was really young… I crate trained mine and they still love their
crates. I just leave the door open know as they let me know when
they want to go outside. Pita nips my ankles then dances in a
circle, spinning around, and Pablo jumps on my legs to get my
attention and then runs to the door.—em J
