Hello, I am back and darn it, its still raining. Before I left it had
been raining off and on for weeks. Then, we had a huge downpour and
water came into the house, along the east wall of the den. It
continued to rain while I was gone, my friend came over after each rain
to check the house and found water had seaped in once again. I had
French Drains installed almost 4 years ago and they had been working
fine, until my neighbors had work done in their yard and the dirt and
gravel washed down over one of the drains and I think it stopped it
up. The guy who installed the drains is coming on Monday and the rains
continue. I had a great trip and Beau (red bellied parrot) and Cesar
were good boys for the pet sitter and for my son. Both were also
delighted to see me back.
