Just got back from the vet with Taffy. First, allow me to say this has really shown my cat ignorance, lol. I didn't know cats had a third eyelid!! Anyhow, apparently the third eye lid has become injured and infected. No telling how really, but something has injured/effected it enough to get it infected. Basically vet gave some eye drops, said it usually shrinks back down. Occasionally they have to do surgery, but not normally. He said give the eye drops twice a day and it should be mostly cleared up within a week. If not, then I will have to take her back.
