I apologize for not commenting earlier but have been so busy here. Yes it is atrocious when someone runs a puppy mill and the poor animals suffer. Hopefully they will all find loving homes and this person won't get any of them back. That is a sad situation for sure. It's a sad situation and I was considering fostering one of the dogs. Then, I decided to make a cash donation rather than bring a dog into my house that might be carrying a disease. There were about 40 Chihuahuas, ranging in age from several years, to 2 weeks old, to some ready to be born taken from a home. The owner is fighting it, but a judge was supposed to rule today. Apparently, the dogs were all malnourished and a few had more serious illnesses.
