Mine don't have microchips but they do have rolled leather collars (the ones
that are roundish rather than flat leather) they seem to not mind them at all
and get used to them. 25 years ago when we had a registered shetland sheepdog
she had a stomach tatoo..also my 15 year old cat has a ear tattoo, do they do
that anymore? Although I can hardly see the tatoo in her ear anymore due to the
fur! I don't think tattoos cause cancer LOL!

The possible link to cancer has been in the news for days. One report I
heard said it was more of a risk to humans than to animals but I wouldn't risk
it. But that's my decision for my dog, everyone has to make their own.
