Some of you may have been following this discussion on the big chi group, but for those who haven't, I thought I would pass it on about the recent vote to disqualify merle chis. I know a lot of you breed merle chis and since the AKC standards have always held ANY color is acceptable, I personally feel this is a "discrimination" against the merles.
I personally do not breed merles and in all honesty would be scared to, but only because I do not feel qualified or educated to do so safely. But we need to stand behind our fellow breeders who may be facing a difficult future with their breeding program. Marsha Do not tell God how big your storm is. Tell the storm how big your God is.
