My male, Dingus is kindof like that, he just goes along being his own self,
running around, jumping off the furniture. He doesn't care at all about
punishment but when he wants to snuggle he is right there with us..however
after a few min he gets up and lies down by himself...quite a bit different
from the female who loves to lie on top of us and is very sensitive!

whatever room i am in. he happy to see me when i come home from work.
special effection once we go to bed. I blame it with him being raised in a
cage kept for stud. there is a lot of black chi in the cities of ct. He doent
really crave being petted just being close. thats why i agree, i don't think
it a chi thing. arlene

all honesty, this doesn't sound like the average chi personality to me. Most
chis are all hung up on their person. They may be agressive or aloof with
others, but worship their person......

know if it is an chihuahua attitude or just his. Jimmy will do
nothing to please me . I cant bribe him he doesn't like treats. he
could care less if you praise him. He just goes around doing his doggy
