Well, I checked it out on scopes and this story isn't entirly true. It's been circulating around the internet for years. Yes, bad guys sometimes do pose as police officers but the rest of the story is made up. The best thing to do would be to diall 911 on your phone or even program the dispatch number into your phone. Some states do have a short cut number, but it varies from state to state... *77 is not universal.
