The 1/3 cup was Chiffon specific for her size and weight. That amount may not apply to yours......But, we were told to give her all the green beans she wanted, so there wasn't a specific time period or anything. Just whenever she was hungry, lol. If you feed twice a day though, I would suggest you break down whatever dog food amount you give her, into two separate meals rather than all at once. And give the green beans at other times to ward off hunger. Marsha
