hello all. thanks for your concern over the past few days. i am happy and so
relieved to report that we are now back in the house with all members of the
family safe and secure. i was at work when my family had to evacuate and of
course i panicked. my mom brought my sisters and all three of my dogs ( 2 chi's
and 1 coated xolo) to my work where i was able to relax knowing everybody was
safe. my dad and my boyfriend stayed behind to fight the flames which by now
were in the backyard ( i live in canyon country), fighting to come inside. with
the help of some great neighbors and a few people that disappeared just as
suddenly as they appeared, they were able to stop the flames from getting in
the house. we had some pretty extensive damage done to the backyard, but i
thank goodness for our lush fruit trees which acted as a barrier sheilding the
flames from causing any damage to the structure. were all so happy to be back
home, thanks again to all of you for your kind thoughts and
prayers.
