I know what you are talking about! Maxx does exactly the same thing but does it by himself. He does that with a piece of dry kibble he gets from his own bowl, a treat that I hand to his mouth, or even a piece of ice cube. He does that game by himself because he takes them from me like a gentleman and lays it down on the floor and does the eye thing. He does it like he's sneaking up on the thing that might attack him any time. Take note that the thing he does it with is smaller than a piece of gum! It is hilarious esp when his front legs are bent and his back legs are positioned such that it's like he's ready to attack it. I read somewhere that it's a play position like he's ready to make a leap.

I noticed he would at times see it coming up one side and actually pretended to be looking the other way (with his head) while his eyes were watching it. Its as if he did not want the toy to see him watching. Then he would viciously grab it faking me out.
