Well, my mother in law has a Daschund. The first few times we went there all
the Daschund would do was growl and snap. She was not used to other dogs or
even being a dog.
Now when we go there my two dogs and her run around and chase and play with
each other everywhere. They just love it!
I had the Siamese when I got my two chi's and she is 15 years old so doesn't
like to play much so I just got the striped/spotted cat and they have a great
time with her. She comes through the gates in the kitchen and hangs out with my
two chi's which is where they stay when we aren't supervising them. She swipes
at them and my white female actually paws her back, she really acts like a cat
sometimes, sleeping on the back of the couch and stalking the male chi!
They are all fun to have and do get used to each other, takes a few times
though.

Thank you, sending the photo again, I saw them photos just fine.
How wonderful to see the dogs and the cats so comfortable around each other. I
took Cesar with me to my son's house (son had knee surgery) and he met my son's
lab for the first time. Shady is a BIG girl and she wanted to play and to
sniff Cesar but he was scared silly and ran away, finally, he just turned and
snapped and growled at her. It was not a happy first meeting. He did much
better playing with my daughter's toy poodle, Sammi.
