My son Cash now has to wear bi-focoles. The sad part about this is I have tried
to contact his biological uncle to find out some medical history from their
side of the family and he is ignoring my calls. My child is losing his vision
and one day may go blind and they don't seem to care! this is their blood and
that's how much it matters. At least I have all of my real true friends and
Cash has his daddy ( TJ ) who loves and cares about him enough. More than them
other people do! Sad thing is, if this is a genetic thing, may god have mercy
on those people! How do you ignore something this significant. Are people
really that cruel and cold hearted?

I know how this mother feels. I have two adopted children through an
interfamily adoption. Their bio mom is my cousin. Yet, she still has not laid
eyes on the kids for 2 years. It has been 5 years since they laid eyes on their
sperm donor. The hard part is those kids that actually know their birth
parents. My kid's "dad" was in prison when the adoption went through. I am a
single parent raising two teens, including a teen boy with no man in in life at
all. Both bio parents had an open invitation to have a relationship with the
kids. So hard for a teen age boy to know there is a man out there somewhere who
doesn't give a crap at all.
