As a last option, there is a thing called a pet piller that you can get at the vet or maybe a pet supply store. Basically it works the same as a syringe......there is a top part that you push down to shoot the pill out of the tube. The end...the part the pill sets in....is made of a soft rubber material that holds the pill firmly, but is soft enough not to hurt the dog. Basically, you put the pill in one end, put it in the back of the dog's throat and push the top to make the pill go down their throat.
