I think this person is just new to yahoo groups and does not understand the concept that once they join and put their status to mail, that they will receive all posts made to the group. We get a new member with this misunderstanding at least a couple times a year. I don't think it is an intentional rudeness on their part....just a lack of understanding as to how yahoo groups work. :-)
