Hi Claudia,
We volunteer with a foster organization. We foster a dog in our home and
then help at PetsMart on Saturdays with adoptions. The dog lives with us until
it gets adopted.
If they can get the dog on www.petfinder.org, that will get people seeing
it.
Another thing might be to look into any Chihuahua rescue or any rescue
groups between here and there and get the word out to them. Some groups set up
caravans to transport dogs.
