Alot of people think if the pups are no longer nursing and eating on their own
that it's ok to let them go. But they should still be able to interact with
the mother to learn the skills that Claudia mentioned below. 8 to 12 week old
pups really learn alot in those few weeks. It's so easy to pick out the pup
that left too early. They are so much more well adjusted when left with mom a
few more weeks.

Them getting there shots has nothing to do with leaving mom.It take the puppy
8-12weeks to learn to socialize with other dogs and people .So longer they stay
with mom so better.Mentally they are better of because they now how to interact
with others better.Ase a single dog multy homes
 God bless you.Claudia

Puppies

6 to 8 weeks old is when they should start getting their first shot and
worming. It is a good idea to wait until they are 8 weeks, but if the Vet
gives that baby puppy a good bill of health, then there should be no reason for
you not to take the puppy home at 6 weeks. Good luck with your new puppy!
