I am heartfully sorry for your loss. You little angel at least had some time with people that cared for her (unlike that pet store!). Please (as soomeone else said already) do not get stuck in your sorrow or blaming yourself. You now know about the problems associated with buying in those places. Hon or her life by becoming mor wary of these types of places and spreading the word. That way her brief stint on the planet does continuing good.

My boy took two years to find me. I am a first time chi owner also and I'm not sure why but I wanted a black one. In my search and research (trying to find one)?I learned more about where?to get one and what to have ready and since I had to wait I feel like I was more informed than I would have been had I just gone to the store and grabbed the first one that I fell in love with (so easy to do as they are all wonderful!). One day a breeder I had connected with wrote to say her litter yielded a short hair black guy but with a little white snip. I had seen a lots of pictures and dogs but when I opened the image I fell hard. He is the love of my life and my best friend.
