One of the dogs I transported was the *sweetest* chihuahua, an ex-puppymill breeder. If I didn't have a full house petwise I'd have tried to adopt her. I spoke to Deana Wehr, the rescue coordinator at the shelter, on the phone. She said they received four of these chihuahuas. One has already been adopted and the one went to a rescue, but she still has two of them. They're on the large-ish side for chihuahuas, about 10 pounds, but still quite small and, believe it or not, VERY sweet temperaments -- shy, but they warm up fast. Have already been spayed and vaccinated and are in good health, so if anybody in the area is looking for a chihuahua, snap one of these babies up!!!
