First thing I would say is give her some time. She comes with a lot of baggage
inside her heart and you never know what she may be thinking about all the
change. Give her time to get use to everyone and become comfortable in her new
home before making her meet others ect. She has met so many new people lately
that she may fear she is moving again if she keeps meeting more new
people...give her a chance to bind first.

As for eating...since you don't know her history, she may have had to fight for
enough to eat all her life. She may be gobbling it up while it is available,
for fear of loosing it if she doesn't. But she does need dry food. Since she
isn't hogging dry food, I would keep a quality dry food available to her at all
times, and start cutting back on any soft or table food. Eventually, when she
is hungry enough, she will start eating the dry. But as long as you keep giving
her what she wants, she may never accept what she "needs".
