Yes, you can damage a chi pups ears...I'm proof, lol. I got too impatient
because all of her litter mates ears were standing so I decided to speed up the
process by trying the taping method. Now, that method can work wonders, or so
I'm told,...IF you KNOW what you are DOING!!! lol. I didn't :-) I tried it and
basically, instead of strengthening her ear muscles, I weakened them. One
survived me, the other did not, lol. So now she has one up and one down.

On a side note, my Diddy, who is a wolf/husky mix, had adorable short ears that
stuck straight up until this past summer when she was attacked by a pack of
labs. She had a lot of injuries that required surgy and everything, but one of
the saddest parts, to me, is that they broke one of her ears and now it falls
down :-(

The pics are fine.....you did good :-)

Huh.....how do u break an ear? Just want to know so I don't ever do it. I've
never heard of this. Is it only when they r puppies or can this happen to
adults?
Sorry I couldn't do any better to this pic except to make her stand out more
and take some of the blue out of her white hair.
  Blessings to u and your's :-)
