So glad I found this site. I am so excited! I have 2 chihuahuas. One
came from someone who just rescued him and then one puppy that my
hubby bought me right after I got "Chihuahua" (his name) Olivia is the
3 month old that I have had for not quite a month. I might have bit
off more than I can chew by having an unaltered male 1 1/2, and then
Oli. The male is a mix of (I was told collie?) He is cute long hair
sable and white. He started peeing on my furniture and blankets and
what ever he finds and then when I put him in his crate at night he
acts like he is having a panic attack and being in my room at night I
don't get much sleep. I plan to put him in the living room tonight. I
guess he has been used to sleeping in bed with his old owner so now he
is in bed with hubby and I as well as my little Olivia. It works out
fine if one is on one side of my legs and the other is on the other
side. It seems that he has been getting up during the night and
heisting his leg at the bottom of the bed. Since we got a long spell
of bitter cold here in the Midwest, he would rather pee inside than go
out in the cold. Does anyone have suggestions on what to do? I am
about to find a new home for him. But who will take in a 1 1/2 year
old unaltered male that reverted back to pottying in the house? He is
an ideal dog for a family. He's great around small children.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I should say that this is my first Chihuahua experience but I love them.
