I have to step in here and say I raise the long legged deer chi's ....on purpose. A lot of folks prefer these guys. Of course then I have the short legged apple heads too. :) Gotta love them all. The short cobby was what I wanted when I was looking but didn't know what it was called. The breeder showed me the parents and they looked fine to me but Cesar grew to be much bigger and as I said longer bodied.
