Chihuahua Connection Magazine Expands to 5 Issues in 2008
Old Lyme, CT, February 1, 2008 Chihuahua Connection Magazine has expanded
to 5 issues per year in celebration of their 5-year anniversary.
Advertisers target pet owners who love their Chihuahuas. Chihuahua Connection
focuses on various topics including health, rescue, fashion and shopping, short
stories, and even dog show information. The well-rounded magazine has something
for every Chihuahua owner.
With writers such as Teri Wilson, who was the third place winner of the 2007
American Kennel Club Short Fiction Contest and the recipient of the 2006
Westminster Kennel Club ANGEL ON A LEASH Writing Award. And Ruth Cunningham and
her partner Joan Martin, who have been raising Chihuahuas for over 30 years.
And Kimberly Chester-Egan, who has a lot of experience in the dog show world
and is knowledgeable about the breeds health. In addition Lynnie Bunten, an
active member of CRT (Chihuahua Rescue and Transport) and CCA (Chihuahua Club
of America) often submits educational and rescue articles.
Chihuahua Connection is unique in that it publishes many stories submitted by
readers. In addition the magazine publishes only photos supplied by readers and
advertisers. Readers love to see their Chihuahua in the magazine or on the
cover, said Tamara Sevigny, Managing Editor of Chihuahua Connection. They
like that their dog doesnt have to be a champion to be a star.

The largest request I get from our readers is to expand to monthly or
bi-monthly printing, said Tamara Sevigny. Expanding from 4 to 5 issues per
year is the first step in that direction.
