Oh, I hate that for u dear Claudia. I am glad you're keeping them
seperated till Sissy gets her strenght back. After she gets her strenght
back I would bring back 1 dog at a time and see if the dog is agressive
towards Sissy. Sometimes they r only aggressive when another dog is
involved....the pack mentality. If one or the other dog is agressive
with Sissy, I would let your friend keep that dog, and keep the none
aggressive dog. I also suggest that u do as I do, and always crate them
when u r away. I have done this since they were puppies, for their own
safety. I generally am not gone for long, but they have water bottles in
there crates in case they get thirsty. I am never gone long enough for
them to get hungry. My oldest girl Lacie is not agressive but she gets a
little mean if Penny, my youngest, won't leave her alone. Penny wants to
play all the time and Lacie likes to play a little but she gets tired
easier and will growl and snap at Penny when she wants her to stop. I
scold Lacie for it, but I actually understand, that Penny gives her
little choice by her persistance. When I'm here to put a stop to it, all
is well, but If I were gone, Penny could be hurt, so crateing them is
the safest way to handle it. This is just my opinion, I hope it helps
:-) My prayers are with u and your furbabies :-)
Blessings to u and your's :-)
