Hello Everyone,
Thank you so much for the warm welcome :) It means a lot to me to find a good
group to be a part of. I used to be a part of a group called Chihuahua Talk a
few years ago. I had a chihuahua named Dozer that I had gotten at 8wks old, he
was about a year and 1/2 when I had to find him a good home. My husband and I
had to move and the place we got at that time didnt allow pets, I was heart
broken! Getting rid of Dozer was the hardest thing I had to do, and I still
think about him all the time. He went to a great home (people we know) but
still he was MY baby. So getting Rufie was a little strange for me. When I
first went to go meet him I didnt have that initial awwww feeling that ive had
with all my other pets. There was a lot going on in the house he was in at the
time so I didnt get to have that bonding time with him. He is a bigger dog and
when I got Dozer he was just a baby, BUT the minute I got Rufus in the car and
he just sat on my lap very
calmly like "ok take me away from here im ready" I just knew he was gonna be
perfect. Now I cant imagine not having him :)
