My little boys ears are straight up since 4 months, ?my older boy's went up and down until?he was a?year old I must say I loved them floppy too but worried as thought they worked better if tall so I massaged both of their ears gently with thumb and forefinger with light strokes from base to tip. Maybe it helped, maybe not. I just know they still love it so we do it (and full body massages) all the time. Just wish they could massage me! LOL but I guess they do in their own way!
