you did what we all would do. spoiled her. she get used to you working. it will be hard but instead of picking her up try petting her and talking to her. My pom pom was very spoiled about being petted and he wanted it 24/7 drove me crazy. so i stopped petting him all together for a long time. he now is a happier dog. he gets petted often and then he is happy just to be around. plays more and sleeps better.
