That does sound a little strange...breeders usually have a price and that is that...I have a one give me a better price the second time around but that was because I gave her several referrals... .which sold her pups to very good homes...it was her way of thanking me.....I don't came what anyone says so breeders will not sell their puppies to just anyone....and she was like that. Not only did I have to come to here home ...she wanted to see mine...I thought ..only fair.!!!! I have two great dogs now and wouldn't of had it any other way. I wish she had long hair chis but she doesn't breed them anymore...so that was why I was asking you guys on here.
