Been awhile since I posted was going thru all the messages :WHEW:
I recently took Harley (jack russel/chi) in to be neutered it went
well. Sadie is on appointement the second week of August due to the
heat she just came out of. Anyway while at the vet I had Harley check
for worms cause I noticed some in his stool and wormed him but wanted
to be sure it was takin care of and they called me to tell me he had
whip worm. the vet explained everything to me and I understand what I
have to do and I took Sadie in and she was given meds to take to
(amazing how a 3.5 pounder that doesnt want to take meds can get real
nasty LOL) Sadie and Harley both are due on Monday for blood work to
start them both on a heartworm med. Inceptor I believe is what they
said. Is anyone using inceptor? I feel bad I never thought to have this
test done. They are both now up to date on shots and hopefully this
whip worm thing is now under control............. Cathy
