Hello everyone....Thank you all for your prayers! I just got off the phone with
Dr Mark a few minutes ago...he said he'd call me by 11...and I didn't hear
anything...I got so upset I started shaking...dropping stuff...and crying...so
I thought I better call him...I had all kinds of crazy thoughts running through
my head...ANYWAY....they have no idea what caused Meeko's illness....because it
was so sudden...all within 40 minutes...from first getting sick and going to
the vet. She still has a fever of 103.4....when she first went in it was 105.5!
He said she's doing MUCH better today...but asked if he could keep her in the
hospital till her temp is normal. She should be home by tomorrow...first he
said later today...so we'll see. I asked if I could visit her later today and
he said yes. I think I'll go about 5 or so and take her some canned food. They
get canned food once a day (here at home) ....more of a treat than
anything...and her and Marissa get regular cat treats...the others don't like
them. I missed her so much last night and this morning. She gets in bed with me
every morning when I wake up...then follows me to the bathroom...all because
she wants some lovin! I rescued her from a camp ground...where the idiot owners
started to shoot cats that people took there. My cousin took in a pregnant cat
from there and still has 2 of the 8 month old kittens...all are fixed now.
Meeko does NOT have feline aids...or leukemia... I didn't think she
would...like I said...my cats don't go outside.Well...I can relax a little
now...so I think I'll go watch my soaps....Yep! I'm an addicted junkie!
HaHa...Maybe because my life is like a soap opera sometimes! haha...Thanks
again for all your prayers....I KNOW they work. One last note...Dr Mark was
getting ready to do emergency surgery on someone's pet when I talked to
him...so I said a little prayer for THAT pet too. I let you know when Meeko is
