Hello EVERYONE...and thank you ALL for your prayers and good thoughts! Dad has his surgery this morning and everything went well. We'll know tomorrow if the surgery worked. So far...so good. I know my dad is depressed because of losing his sight. He was completely blind in the eye that they did the surgery on this morning...and his other eye is also bad. He hasn't been able to drive...read the news paper...or a lot of other things for a while now. So we're all hoping and praying the surgery worked. He likes to go out side and do things in the yard also...but hasn't too much lately. He tripped in his living room one day and almost fell to the floor...thank God he was able to catch himself. My mom has a stress test this Thursday...another all morning event...haha...I go to all my mom's appointments with her. I don't go to dad's regular appointments...because my mom goes with him...but no one goes with mom...except me. I have to go to the doctor myself on Wed. A 3 month check up for my diabetes and liver...so have to have lab work done before hand....I'll be so glad when this week is over!!! I pray that my mom doesn't need any more stints put in...she has 3 now. I get so scared when they have to put her to sleep. When they did her gall bladder surgery a few years ago she almost died! She has a real hard time coming out of the anesthesia...ok...guess I'll go for now. OH~~~One more thing~~~my cousin found a lady about 100 miles from me who is selling some Chihuahuas...she's a breeder...but do to recent surgeries she's selling some of her dogs. I've been looking for a certain color one...and this lady has one...Sox is a chocolate...with a little bit of tan and white...one of the ones that lady has for sale is a chocolate brindle...I'm not sure exactly what she will look like...I could only find one on line when I was looking for pictures of the color. But from the one I saw...it was very pretty. My only problem is the money...she only wants $100 for her...she's a year old...I did have money saved for a dog...then decided to get the stuff to fix up the bathroom and kitchen...by the way...hardly anything at all is done in there yet...we just haven't had the time...and then with Meeko's vet bill last week of a little over $303.00....and a few other things that came up....when you don't have much money to begin with all the unexpected things can really set you back...I'm hoping the lady still has her this week end. I need gas money and turn pike toll too...we were just down there on the 19th for my family reunion...I wish I had known about the dogs then! Anyway...THIS could be some GOOD news...I can't wait to get another baby! Take care everyone....I'll be back later~~~Sharon
