I have been faced with the problem of a dog eating his own poo. My vet said a small spoonful of spinach every day, because it fements in the digestive system and makes the poo taste bad to them. It worked very well, but you must feed it everyday until the habit is broken. If you only feed it a few days, they will go right back to it. Maybe you can feed your kitty a spoon of spinach?? My new little one, Jaelyn, has taken to eating kitty poop out of the litter box. I always distract her when I see her heading for the bathroom, but my husband is not as diligent about keeping an eye on her as I am. :/ I know that if dogs eat their own poop or another dogs poop a good suggestion is giving them pineapple. Tastes great going in, not so good after it comes out. Does anyone have a suggestion for what I can do to get her to stop eating the kitties poop?
