OK, so they're playing and the huge paw swats the chihuahua just right on the neck, it will still be just as dead or paralized.

These dogs are playing.  Most dogs who are friends and playmates will know how to be gentle with the other one.  One of my Australian Shepherds plays with my Chi and she never hurts him.  Of course, I would never let them play unsupervised, just in case.  But this pit bull and Chi are just being dogs and playing like dogs.
