They are a week and a half old. Ginger was due Monday from first mating, but still no pups. Her temp has now dropped, but I will check again later to make sure it wasn't a false reading. But if it is still down, then looks like we should be having pups soon. The blackberries are all gone now, so the season is over. Still have to deliver a couple of orders. May be able to pick enough of the leftovers to make a cobbler for ourselves :-) Kids started back to School day before yesterday. And already, they were sent home early yesterday because the highschool lost water supply. Stephen got his driver's license yesterday!!! He only had one area where they said he needed a little work, but he still passed!!! Our principal has accepted a job at another school, so as of now, our school has no principal. And yesterday, when I took Stephen to school after his DL test, the assistant principal called me aside and told me he had been offered a job at another school and it was too good an opportunity for his family to pass up. He wanted to let me know before he made it official, because he is the one I work closely with on Stephen's special needs. He has been so good to work with and has been so good to Stephen.....he will definitely be a loss for us. No one else has ever been able to work with Stephen the way he has. So now, our school is also without a vice principal!! AND, we have been placed in tier 5 for 6 straight years of failure to meet educational goals. In other words, the state is looking to take over our school because the local board is not doing a good job. My mom, SIL and I tried to raise a garden this year....with food prices so high, we knew we had to do something!! Anyhow, the electric company is currently trimming under the lines in our area. The other day, I noticed one of the trimmer guys had tied a goat to Stephen's 76 Mustang! I told him he needed to move the goat away from the car. I think that ticked him off, because later in the day, he drove the trimmer truck through the garden. Destroyed the garden. We filed a claim for $500 with his boss to be turned into their insurance. Mom actually went and counted all the corn stalks, smashed pumpkins, beans, ect, lol....... Well, that's my life in a nutshell...and I'm the nut!!!! Hoping everyone is having a great time, safe puppy deliveries, answered prayers, healthy bodies and good spirits (not the liquor kind please, lol)!!! Marsha Do not tell God how big your storm is. Tell the storm how big your God is. http://taylorstots. tripod.com/
